Marcia Alvey

Marcia represents working people in workers’ compensation, personal injury and social security disability cases in Portland, and practices throughout Oregon. Marcia was raised in Coos Bay, Oregon. She graduated from Willamette University in 1982, and obtained her law degree at Northwestern School of Law in 1986. Marcia is the former Chair of the Oregon State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. She is the 2007 recipient of the Douglas W. Daughtry Award of Merit from the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar, and the 2008 recipient of the Doug Swanson Outstanding Workers’ Compensation Attorney Award from the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. Marcia is Past President of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
